The Baba Nonya Literary Festival next month celebrates local Peranakan literature from memoirs to cookbooks

Stella Kon's iconic play Emily Of Emerald Hill has a towering place in Singapore literature.

There is more to Peranakan literature though, and a new festival aims to pay homage to its richness.
