Actress Jo Tan is hobbling around in a padded boot, but she says the restaging of Forked will go ahead as she takes on all five roles

Actress Jo Tan is sporting a huge padded boot on her left foot in The Finger Players' rehearsal studio. She stubbed her toe on the set's furniture and fractured her big toe, which is currently splinted, she says ruefully.

While her doctor frets over how she will get through the upcoming one-woman production, the 36-year-old says the show must go on.
