SINGAPORE - Actress Jo Tan is sporting a huge padded boot on her left foot in The Finger Players' rehearsal studio. She stubbed her toe on the set's furniture and fractured her big toe, which is currently splinted, she says ruefully.

While her doctor frets about how she will get through her upcoming one woman show, she says the show must go on. Forked, Tan's first full-length script which debuted at 2017's M1 Singapore Fringe Festival with a cast of five, is turning into something of a physical challenge for the 36-year-old.
