Jazz The Beatles: Jeremy Monteiro, With A Little Help From My Friends

SSO Subscription Concert: Chopin Piano Concerto 2 - Poem Of Ecstasy

Canadian pianist Charles Richard- Hamelin takes the lead in Chopin's Second Piano Concerto, written when the composer was just 20. The first half of this programme gives way to Liadov's The Enchanted Lake, before ending with Scriabin's Poem Of Ecstasy.

Ghost Nets Of The Ocean

Artists from the Erub Arts group, hailing from Darnley Island in Australia's Torres Strait, have transformed abandoned fishing nets (or ghost nets) into an art installation featuring marine life, to provoke reflection on how humans are impacting the world's oceans.

More than 80 sculptures of fish, turtles, squids, jellyfish and corals woven from ghost nets are showcased.

Vietnamese artist Phi Phi Oanh's pictorial installation represents commonplace objects found at many Vietnamese construction sites such as stacks of bricks, a straw mat and aged patterned ceramic tiles, using lacquer to bring symbolic meaning to the ordinary and banal.
