AUDITIONS Open Call: Beyond Words 2015
The National Book Development Council of Singapore invites Malay and Tamil authors and publishers to submit unpublished and out-of-print picture books, chapter books and young adult novels for publication. Beyond Words 2015 aims to support the creation and development of children's picture books and young adult fiction.

Takizawa Kabuki
This high-production stage show is headlined by Japanese pop star and actor star Hideaki Takizawa, who reinterprets Kabuki, a traditional Japanese theatre form showcasing elaborate costumes and make-up and exaggerated acting. This depicts the metamorphic and spiritual journey of Mauryan Emperor Ashoka who, upon witnessing the suffering caused by his greed and desire for conquest, sought inspiration from Buddha's teachings, relinquished violence and adopted peaceful models of rule.

Dick Lee The Adventures Of The Mad Chinaman
