Wild Rice's Theatre Fest: Delving into issues close to home

The $1-million festival features seven new plays and one restaged work, on issues ranging from press freedom to stereotypes about ethnicity and masculinity

Wild Rice's Singapore Theatre Festival is back for its sixth edition, which runs from July 5 to 22 at spaces in the Lasalle College of the Arts.

The event is so popular among theatregoers here that 500 tickets offered for free to viewers aged between 16 and 25 were snapped up within hours on April 9.
