SSO CHRISTMAS CONCERT

What: Traditional carols and yuletide jingles get the full orchestral treatment, as the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, the Singapore Symphony Children's Choir and Singapore Bible College Chorale join forces.

What: The Braddell Heights Symphony Orchestra and The Joy Chorale put cheeky twists on festive classics - such as setting Christmas carols to Hokkien tunes - in this fun concert for the family.

SG50@VCH: T'ANG QUARTET - COMING HOME

What: The T'ang Quartet sends 2015 off with a burst of nostalgia in a concert that offers a look back at its journey, from its formation in 1992.

THE PHILHARMONIC WINDS GOES POP

What: From South Korea to the United States, The Philharmonic Winds take audiences on a journey around the globe with this concert of pop gems. But home is where the heart is: In a special segment marking SG50, the ensemble will pay tribute to local songwriters Liang Wern Fook and Dick Lee.

THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES

What: A self-absorbed emperor celebrates the 50th year of his reign with a grand national dress parade, but gets tricked by two tailors in this Wild Rice production.

GRC (GENG REBUT CABINET)

What: Teater Ekamatra's play comes in the wake of Singapore's Sept 11 polls and follows a political party's search for a minority candidate. The catch: He or she must be Chinese.

DEAR SANTA

What: Santa Claus is on a search for the perfect Christmas gift and the audience is invited. This show from Britain, based on a children's book by Rod Campbell, is a charming day out for the family, with audience interaction and sing-alongs.
