SINGAPORE - August is a month to paint the town red. Literally, as 10 buildings in the civic district will be lit in scarlet for National Day celebrations. These include the museums and heritage sites such as the Central Fire Station, the Armenian Church and Chijmes.

Social distancing and capacity caps are in place at heritage institutions, but there are plenty of National Day festivities to look out for, both in real life and online.
