SAM stays busy as it prepares for renovation

The Singapore Art Museum will continue programmes and long-term commitments off-site during its closure

In January next year, both buildings of the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) will be shuttered for more than one year for renovation, but the team will continue to run programmes in other locations, including next year's Singapore Biennale.

Ms June Yap, the museum's director of curatorial, programmes and publications, says SAM will continue to focus on its "long-term commitments".
