The highly anticipated three-day Superstars Of Ballet opens tonight. Ballet fans are in for a real treat as the top 13 principal dancers in the world, including superstars Alexis Saramite and Jurgita Dronina, perform at Marina Bay Sands. See highlights from iconic contemporary ballet classics such as Le Corsaire, Don Quixote and Brel. The production is presented by Base Entertainment Asia in partnership with the Voilah! French Festival in Singapore.

SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK - ROMEO AND JULIET
The Singapore Repertory Theatre marks the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's death by revisiting the Bard's tragic love story. Directed by Daniel Slater, it sees young actors Cheryl Tan (Beauty World) and Thomas Pang (Tribes) play the star-crossed lovers (both above), while the supporting cast includes veteran performers such as Jo Kukathas, Daniel Jenkins, and Remesh Panicker.

EK MULAQAAT (A MEETING)
Renowned Indian cinema actress Deepti Naval (above) appears on stage for the first time in her four-decade acting career. Essaying the role of the late writer Amrita Pritam, this critically acclaimed play explores her relationship with poet and lyricist
Sahir Ludhianvi (played by Shekhar Suman, above). Was theirs a story of unrequited love or a literary friendship? Ek Mulaqaat explores that and more while drawing from the work of the two great Indian writers. The play, directed by Saif Hyder Hasan, is in Hindi and Urdu with English surtitles.

IN-DEFINITE DEFIANCE: SOLO EXHIBITION BY ERIC CHAN
This new series of oil paintings presents cropped, monochromatic landscapes set within earth-toned backgrounds. Drawing upon the rhythms of nature, Eric Chan creates a dramatic tension in his new works. The artist, who is known for his use of rich colours, makes a significant departure from his past works. The layered interplay of light and shadow hints at his growing ease with his canvas.
