Dash down for the closing weekend of contemporary batik painter Tumadi Patri's first solo show. There are dazzling colourscapes, such as A Dance Of Kayon, alongside works which evoke wayang kulit theatre puppets and his Javanese heritage.

SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK - THE MERCHANT OF VENICE
The Singapore Repertory Theatre's outdoor staging of The Merchant Of Venice updates Shakespeare's matchless tale of moneylending and matrimony for the 21st century by setting it in a modern financial metropolis. Remesh Panicker plays Shylock, the bitter moneylender out for bloody revenge; Daniel Jenkins is his victim Antonio; and Julie Wee plays Portia, the lawyer who saves the day.

UNEARTHED
These 30 works displayed at the Singapore Art Museum explore humanity's relationship with nature and the environment in ways ranging from eye-opening to disturbing. Look out for pieces such as Real Estate by Twardzik Ching Chor Leng, in which a small square plot from the front lawn of the museum has been placed indoors, and Ouch! by Ezzam Rahman, in which flakes of dead skin from the artist's feet have been glued together to form sculptures of animal fossils.
