VOYAGE TO NANYANG 3: FOOD PARADISE
Led by resident conductor Quek Ling Kiong (left, with actor Sugie Phua), the Singapore Chinese Orchestra presents a food-themed concert for younger audiences. The programme includes Lin Yi's Nanyang Cuisine Of Yesteryears, music with a video showing the evolution of hawker food, as well as the percussion work Tableware Beats by Qian Zhao Xi, which uses crockery and cutlery.
