SINGAPORE - Fancy a one-night staycation on the Esplanade Theatre stage?

Yes that's right: The stage which has played host to world class theatre and dance performances for more than a decade can be your personal playground. It will be an evening where you, and three loved ones, will literally camp out on the Esplanade Theatre's world class stage for the night.

Of course this being the theatre, the stage will be set to a particular scene. The theme is A Night Through Time, and the stage will be decked out in the style of a 1960s Singapore home.

The lucky four campers will also be treated to a full programme of activities, including joget dance lessons and a tour behind the scenes at the Esplanade. Theatre actress Oon Shu An will be on hand to guide the winner and company through the day's itinerary. The programme's highlight will be ringside seats at this year's National Day Parade.

Here's the catch - you cannot book this staycation. You have to make a creative video, up to 15 seconds long, wishing Singapore a happy birthday. The best video will be chosen and announced on Aug 5 on the SG50 Facebook page. The deadline for entries is July 31.
