The fourth edition of Men In Black tries to pass itself off as the real thing, but its jokes fall flat

The story: In 2016, in Paris, Men In Black agents H (Chris Hemsworth) and T (Liam Neeson) have to stop aliens called the Hive, who have opened a portal with plans to invade Earth. The duo fend off the attack. That encounter, however, will later be of importance to recruit Agent M (Tessa Thompson) and MIB's United States branch head Agent O (Emma Thompson).

There was a time when the Men In Black series offered juvenile fun for grown-up audiences: Alien body-fluid jokes, gross-out sight gags involving body-snatchers who wear the rotting human skins like suits, the sight of Will Smith caught in tentacles and whipped around like a child's toy.
