Living Well: A friendship that blossomed over a love of plants

They bonded over plants in a nursery and cemented their friendship during a road trip to Malaysia in search of more plants

Through my career in plastic surgery and my diverse interests and hobbies, I have had the privilege to know and become friends with people from all walks of life and all levels of society.

Each has an interesting story to tell, if you only bother to listen. Some have become friends from the most unlikely situations. Uncle Larry is one of them. He is a simple, hardworking man who owns a plant nursery and I have known him for close to 40 years.
