SINGAPORE - Mr Campbell Wilson started up low-cost carrier Scoot a decade ago, then steered it through the pandemic when he returned to helm it days before Singapore's circuit breaker was enacted in April 2020.

In between, the Scoot chief executive rotated back to Singapore Airlines (SIA), which he had joined 26 years ago.
