SINGAPORE - Like many Singaporeans waiting for borders to reopen, Amy hopes to visit Malaysia soon.

But the widespread, Covid-19 pandemic-induced thirst for travel is not what drives her. Instead, she wants to do her third cycle of in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) at a fertility clinic in Johor Baru.
