In a scene straight out of a sci-fi movie, South Korean cosmetics conglomerate Amorepacific recently launched an artificial intelligence (AI) beauty laboratory in Seoul, where androids – instead of humans – custom-mix face products like lipsticks and foundations for customers after an AI machine analyses their skin tone.
