Studio Qiling’s charity scarves
Studio Qiling’s Pura Vida Double-Sided Silk Scarf features manta rays on a blue background.
Home-grown artisanal fashion label Studio Qiling, known for its exquisite hand-drawn silk scarves, has teamed up with local actress Julie Tan to create the Pura Vida Double-Sided Silk Scarf.
Inspired by the concept of Pura Vida, which in Spanish means pure life, the scarf features manta rays on a blue background. The scarf showcases Tan’s passion for the underwater world, particularly manta rays, as they evoke a sense of calm when navigating through rough waters.
This special-edition scarf is priced at $269, with 100 per cent of the net proceeds going to the Children’s Cancer Foundation.
Studio Qiling co-founder Melissa Tan, a lymphoma cancer survivor who started the label in 2023, says this collaboration marks the brand’s inaugural foray into charity partnerships.
