SINGAPORE - Mr Thierry Stern remembers taking umbrage at something one of his mentors said about 30 years ago.
"He was very close to my dad and taught me everything about watchmaking," says the 52-year-old fourth-generation owner of luxury watchmaker Patek Philippe.
