SINGAPORE – Singaporean socialite and beauty entrepreneur Kim Lim’s second child has turned a month old.
She shared the news on Jan 3 by reposting the Instagram Stories of her friends and loved ones who had received a gift box from her for the occasion. It came with red eggs and a variety of sweet treats, as per Chinese tradition.
One of those who received the gift box by Creme Maison Bakery was Singaporean actress Rebecca Lim, who congratulated Lim and wrote: “Blessed full month, little one”.
Kim Lim first broke the news about her pregnancy on Aug 7, 2024, with a video on Instagram.
It showed her celebrating her birthday and having a gender-reveal party
In the video, Lim, dressed in a white cropped T-shirt and grey sweatpants, was seen crying and touching her baby bump while looking up at the sky. She was said to be five months pregnant then, after going through in-vitro fertilisation.
Drones in the sky formed a happy birthday message. They also formed a cartoon-like image of a dragon to signify the current Chinese zodiac year. And they posed the questions: “Is it a girl? Is it a boy?”
The video was cut off before the answer was revealed.
Lim has not disclosed the newborn’s gender and when she delivered her baby. It is also not known who the father is.
Lim, the daughter of Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim, has a son, Kyden, from her first marriage with Kho Bin Kai. The pair wedded in 2017 and divorced in 2020. Her firstborn turns eight in 2025.
She married her second husband Leslie Leow in a lavish, star-studded wedding in February 2022, but they split up two months later.
