On Sep 28, Scoot launched twice-weekly flights to Kertajati, where travellers can visit lush tea plantations.

With lush tea plantations, Kertajati in Indonesia is among the destinations served exclusively by budget airlines from Singapore.

SINGAPORE – Of around 100 airlines operating out of Changi Airport, 20 are low-cost carriers (LCCs). 

But collectively, they fly to 84 of the 148 destinations that the airport is linked to. The latest additions are Padang, Indonesia; Phu Quoc, Vietnam; and Shantou, China, announced by budget carrier Scoot on Nov 11.
