SINGAPORE – Young curators are making their mark on the art scene here with exhibitions that are not just about the beauty of the artworks.

Independent curator John Tung has taken his audience to the edge of a secondary forest at Gillman Barracks, offered them tea in a pop-up garden in Chinatown and presented them with art at malls slated for redevelopment.
