Whether it is a truck, a train or a go-kart, speed retardation causes a load transfer towards the front. It is a physical phenomenon one has experienced when travelling in any vehicle.

The front wheels therefore become burdened with a higher dynamic load, which effectively results in a decreased load at the rear.
