To live your best life is to master the balancing act of efficiently zipping through life in the urban jungle and slowing down and being fully present in those precious moments for loved ones.
With the new Lexus LBX – Lexus Breakthrough Crossover – individuals with discerning tastes will get to enjoy a car that is as driven, committed and progressive as they are. It comes complete with advanced technology, intelligent safety features and impressive fuel efficiency complementing their needs.
Stylishly extend your personality with the Lexus LBX
If your choice of car reflects who you are, your personality will be elevated with the Lexus LBX.
Sophisticated good looks headlined by its spindle grille exude the same confidence you do in the office, while eye-catching details, such as a sleek single strip brake light and dynamic crossover form, draw envious glances from onlookers at your favourite hangouts in sunny Singapore.
The nifty Lexus LBX epitomises versatility without compromise. Where utility is concerned, expect ample space for ferrying furkids on the weekends, adequate space in the boot for gear that your active lifestyle demands and an appetite for exploration around the city.

Everyday drivers will delight in how effortless it is to pilot the Lexus LBX round Singapore’s city roads, with buttery-smooth performance that boasts a 19.6km per litre efficiency.
Along the way, Lexus’ signature blend of refinement promises to enhance the experience within its cabin. The 13-speaker Mark Levinson sound system makes sure that your favourite tunes – be it chart topping pop ditty or soulful instrumental cover – are delivered with the full-bodied richness, clarity and depth one would expect from a premium speaker system.
Sustainable driving with self-charging hybrid efficiency
As the first Lexus with a Category A certificate of entitlement, the Lexus LBX represents exceptional value for drivers seeking luxury, technology, and a motoring experience among the best in its class.
It also embraces the ideals of sustainability with your lifestyle in mind. It is a self-charging full hybrid, which enables it to recoup energy as you drive – from the engine itself – and through regenerative braking. The energy generated from these two sources helps charge the battery.

This hybrid technology means that the Lexus LBX can benefit from additional power from its electric motor, and be driven in full-electric vehicle mode, with zero emissions for as much as 62 per cent of the time.
And when you start tallying up the dollars and cents from its performance figures, it’s hard to look past that impressive 19.6km/L fuel efficiency. On a full tank, the Lexus LBX’s 705km range means needing less stops for petrol and more savings in both time and money.
Intelligent systems at work
The Lexus LBX is a joy to drive and also a car that is designed to delight drivers with a host of advanced technology that make each ride an effortless experience.
A heads-up display helps you focus on the road by having details presented at eye level on the windscreen while a 360-degree panoramic view monitor ensures that you will always be aware of your surroundings when parking, especially when needing to negotiate tight spaces or when parking head-first.

Types of hybrid cars you need to know
- Mild hybrids
These cars make use of an electric motor to supplement engine power, or support some operational functions. However, they cannot be driven fully on electric power alone.
- Full hybrids
Full hybrid cars have a more robust electric motor system and a larger dedicated battery compared to mild hybrids. Full hybrids can operate in full electric mode, which significantly improves fuel efficiency. The electric motor and batteries in full hybrids, like those in the Lexus LBX, use energy from the internal combustion engine (ICE) and regenerative braking to recharge the battery that powers the electric motor. This eliminates the need to plug the car into a charging station, as full hybrids do not require external charging to function.
- Plug-in hybrids
Plug-in hybrids, or also commonly known as PHEVs, are just full hybrids, but with the capability to plug into a wall socket to charge the battery. PHEVs also have bigger batteries than full hybrids, allowing them to drive further on full electric vehicle mode, leading to increased fuel savings.
When necessary, its advanced auto park feature can take over the chore of having to manage narrow car park spaces or tricky parallel lots. This way, you spend less time worrying and more time focused on hopping from cafe to cafe and enjoying your cuppa.
Behind the scenes, there are also safety features readily available to support the driver. Besides adaptive cruise control that helps ease the burden of long drives, smart features such as blind spot monitoring and pre-collision assistance work as an extra pair of eyes watching out for and notifying the driver of risks from other vehicles.
Safe exit assist, on the other hand, is an additional safety measure that makes use of the car’s blind spot monitoring system to watch out for approaching vehicles or bicycles. Audio alerts will be used to warn the driver, and the system can even proactively hold the door closed until it is safe to be opened.
A car may be a means to a destination, but the Lexus LBX excels in meeting needs, anticipating wants and delivering an experience above and beyond the competition. After all, the relentless pursuit of perfection is what Lexus does, and for drivers looking to live their best lives in the city, there is none better suited for this than Lexus’ all-new LBX.
