SINGAPORE – The sport utility vehicle (SUV) as an overweight, thirsty and smoky beast may be a popular stereotype, but one which is not entirely baseless.
While most present-day cars which wear the SUV label cannot be driven on anything but tarmac, those which can still tend to be overweight, thirsty and, if they are older, a little smoky.
