SINGAPORE – Ms Elaine Ee used to attend cardio classes at a mega gym. Now, the 31-year-old finds it more convenient to use a smart mirror with preloaded workouts run by artificial intelligence (AI).

She stands before the mirror, chooses her workout and follows the training video. She is observed by a camera set into the smart mirror and, at the end of the session, AI rates her athletic form and workout intensity.
