SINGAPORE – Two cookbooks published in Singapore and Malaysia in late 2023 document rare Indian Peranakan heirloom recipes believed to date back more than 500 years.

Heritage Food Of The Peranakan Indians: In A Chitty Melaka Kitchen is Singapore’s first and only Chetti cookbook and was put out by the Peranakan Indian (Chitty Melaka) Association, Singapore.
