Every year around this time, Little India gets a lot brighter as it rings in Deepavali, the Hindu festival of lights that marks the triumph of good over evil.

The light-up for this year's festival - which falls on Nov 4 - was unveiled two weeks ago (Sept 25) and will be on till Nov 21.
