When security firm owner and former army major Ponno Kalastree decided to buy an apartment in Golden Mile Complex in 1989, he had no idea he would be buying a gold mine.
Not only is the Modernist building gazetted for conservation, but it is also up for en-bloc sale as 85 per cent of its owners have expressed their wish to sell their units.
