SINGAPORE – I’ve always been fascinated by fairies.
In class during my secondary school days in the early 1970s and inspired by the fables of British children’s writer Enid Blyton, I would doodle sprites and elves on the pages of my school textbooks, all the while keeping a wary eye out lest my teachers get wind of my indulgences.
