SINGAPORE - Fifth-generation technology, or 5G, for cellular networks has been rolled out in Singapore and it is ushering in a new era of lightning-fast connectivity with low lag time.

Singtel, Singapore's largest telco, announced in July that it has installed 95 per cent of outdoor locations on the island with 5G signals, three years ahead of the 2025 target set by the Government.
