SINGAPORE – Mr Albert Tay first noticed symptoms of an irregular heartbeat in 2023. He would occasionally feel his heart fluttering lightly before going to bed.
After contracting Covid-19, it became more noticeable, says the 52-year-old. The palpitations seemed to last longer and felt more serious. The banking and finance director in a multinational company is married and has two teenage children.
