SINGAPORE - If you remember the era of dial-up Internet and pagers, kept your music in cassettes, CDs and, now, a Spotify playlist, and were born between 1980 and 1985, congratulations, you are a "geriatric millennial".

The label, introduced in April by American author Erica Dhawan on publishing platform Medium, describes a micro-generation that is comfortable with both analogue and digital forms of communication.
