SINGAPORE - If you are a private chef who does cooking gigs in people's homes, or run a private dining business from your own home, look out for a tall, blond man with an American accent.

His name is Tycen Bungaard. The 38-year-old American is the new - and first - chief executive officer of the Les Amis Group of restaurants, and if he hands you his business card, take it.
