What are the hot snacks this Chinese New Year? Which ones are flying off the shelves, will be gone in no time from your coffee table and will have you chiding yourself after you polish off a whole jar?

This reporter wended her way through the bustling New Year fairs at Takashimaya Department Store, Tangs at VivoCity and Tang Plaza, as well as online marketplaces to find out. Though dispersed and diminished in size this year, the fairs are still in full swing.
