SINGAPORE – Upping the price of her white carrot cake to $4 would be more profitable, but carrot cake seller Claire Huang is keeping it priced at $3.50 after designating it as a budget meal.
The 35-year-old, who runs Carrot Cubes at an HDB coffee shop, readily agreed when the coffee-shop operator approached her to offer a budget meal in December 2023.
