SINGAPORE - Some lucky readers of The Straits Times will walk away with a pair of tickets to the local movie Number 1.

Local funnyman Mark Lee stars in the movie as a manager who gets retrenched and then unwittingly ventures into the world of drag performances. Lee has been nominated for the prestigious Golden Horse Awards in the best leading actor category.

Taiwan's Golden Horse Awards, which has often been dubbed the Oscars of Chinese-language cinema, will hold its ceremony in November. Number 1 has also been nominated for its makeup and costume design.

There will be 30 pairs of movie tickets up for grabs in a lucky draw for ST readers to enjoy the movie at any Cathay Cineplexes. Singapore Press Holdings is the movie's official media partner.
