SINGAPORE - At any other social event, if a man were to strike another person in full view of guests, the normal reaction would be for others to restrain or caution the attacker, then call the police.
The attacker would at least be asked to leave. How can anyone focus on the goings-on while the man whose outburst has tainted the evening is still sitting there?
