LOS ANGELES – As actor Will Smith does the rounds promoting his new film about slavery, Emancipation, his press appearances have turned into something of an apology tour.
Yet, ahead of a recent Zoom press day, The Straits Times and other media are duly warned by publicists not to ask the 54-year-old any “personal questions”.
