America’s showgirl Taylor Swift has done it again.

The pop superstar’s recent guest appearance in a video podcast co-hosted by her fiance and National Football League player Travis Kelce garnered a record 1.3 million concurrent views on YouTube on Aug 13.

Guinness World Records, the global authority on all things record-breaking, announced this on Aug 26 on its website and social media platforms.

Swift’s appearance on the New Heights podcast – hosted by Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce – gave fans a rare and intimate look into her personal life.

In the two-hour episode, she released details about her upcoming studio album, The Life Of A Showgirl, and spoke about reclaiming her master recordings, among other topics.

She also gave viewers a glimpse into her love story with Travis Kelce. The couple, both 35,

announced their engagement

in an Instagram post on Aug 26 following a two-year romance.

Before the pair started dating, Kelce had in 2023 used his podcast to share how he was disappointed about not having a chance to meet Swift and give her his phone number at The Eras Tour.

As at Aug 30, the episode titled Taylor Swift On Reclaiming Her Masters, Wrapping The Eras Tours, And The Life Of A Showgirl was viewed more than 21 million times and garnered more than 700,000 likes.

The chorus of support marks another feather in her cap.

In 2023, Swift’s globetrotting,

149-show The Eras Tour

was recognised as the highest-grossing music tour, according to the Guinness World Records.

It was the first to surpass US$1 billion (S$1.3 billion) in revenue, the organisation said on Dec 12, 2023.

The tour, which concluded on Dec 8, 2024,

sold more than US$2 billion worth of tickets in total

, according to The New York Times.

During The Eras Tour, she released The Tortured Poets Department – an album that went on to claim the most day-one streams of an album on Spotify, and the most-streamed album on Spotify in 24 hours with more than 313 million plays.

“She’s dropped 14 US number one albums, 13 UK number one albums, 260 billboard songs, and she’s still seismically active,” Guinness World Records said in a video posted on July 11, 2025.

Swift and her fans, known as Swifties, once made the ground shake – literally.

During her two-day show in Seattle in July 2023, seismic activity equivalent to a 2.3-magnitude earthquake was generated, the Guinness World Records said on Dec 13, 2024.

The concert was attended by more than 72,000 Swifties on its first night and 144,000 across the weekend.

“The woman is a record-breaking machine,” it added. “Perhaps at this point, we should just accept that this is Taylor’s world and we’re all just living in it.”
