LOS ANGELES - Superhero dramedy The Umbrella Academy (2019 to present) has an elaborate time-bending mythology and an ever-expanding cast.
But the heart of the show - Netflix's most viewed title globally, when its third season made its debut late last month - is not about superpowers or other fantastical elements, but rather, a family working through difficult issues.
