LOS ANGELES - Late 2019 saw an influx of young TikTok and other social media stars moving to Los Angeles - and into shared houses with other influencers - in the hope of raising their profiles and landing acting and music contracts. Some have been more successful than others.

The 20-year-old American dancer, singer and actress is the third-most-followed person on TikTok, with more than 80 million followers.
