SINGAPORE – Even for fans who saw JJ Lin’s concerts at the National Stadium in 2022, there will be plenty of surprises at his shows at the same venue in December, according to the Mandopop superstar.
In a media release sent on Nov 13, the Singaporean singer said: “I am excited to be able to share the tour I have envisioned come to fruition, especially for those who have experienced the first JJ20 concert two years ago. Be prepared to be blown away.”
The 43-year-old will take the stage on Dec 28 and 29 on the second and final leg of his JJ20 World Tour. According to the release, the upcoming shows will feature a dynamic range of songs, from fan favourites to recent hits that highlight Lin’s evolution as an artiste.
It added: “Fans can expect an electrifying yet intimate experience filled with powerful ballads, a brand new wardrobe and a massive, state of the art stage design.”
Tickets ranging from $158 to $358 will be available via Ticketmaster at a pre-sale for OCBC card members from 12pm on Nov 21. General sales will start at 12pm on Nov 22.
Lin’s current tour debuted in Singapore in November 2022 with two shows, and has completed more than 70 performances in 40 cities, such as Shanghai, Sydney, Paris, London and New York.
The second leg will have stops in 15 cities, such as Singapore, Hong Kong and Beijing, which were stops on the tour’s first leg, as well as new locations like Boston, San Francisco and Seoul.
