LOS ANGELES - Kelly Marie Tran, Taylor Schilling and Mike Colter star in the new horror anthology Monsterland, where each episode features a different monster in a different city.

But its creator, Mary Laws, says the monsters on the show "are not altogether monstrous", especially compared with the human protagonists of each tale - which was designed to show "that juxtaposition between good and bad and horror and beauty".
