LOS ANGELES - A child prodigy-turned-doctor is the heroine of Doogie Kamealoha, M.D., a coming-of-age comedy premiering on Disney+ on Sept 8.

And as a character jokes in the first episode, she is "every Asian mum's dream" because "to them, the only thing better than being a doctor is being a doctor faster".
