SINGAPORE – Working in a food cart in a theme park, you realise the job combines two activities: making food and chucking people out.
It’s about 2pm at the Frozen Fuel cart at Universal Studios Singapore (USS). While I am learning how to poke holes in plastic-wrapped coconuts – it’s trickier than you think – and deep-frying churros in a workspace the size of a letterbox, a couple of kids dash into the work area and poke around as if the cart were another exhibit.
