SINGAPORE - Edward Khoo was just 18 when his short film Late Shift, which was about an elderly taxi driver's encounter with a drunk passenger, premiered at the 17th Busan International Film Festival.

The 26-year-old has by now made four short films and is working on a script for a horror film, tentatively titled Prisoners Of The Pacific.
