SINGAPORE – The young talent who will perform at the 2024 ChildAid charity concert, titled The Dream Emporium, got the chance to brush up on their dancing, singing and acting skills at workshops held at SPH News Centre’s auditorium from Sept 1 to 3.

The group includes 10-year-old Jemima Liew-Yeo, who also performed in the 2023 edition of ChildAid.

“The workshops taught me to be more calm, which is something I have always found hard to do. I tend to forget what I am doing, but I know the directors are always there to help and guide me along,” she said.

ChildAid is organised by The Straits Times and The Business Times to raise money for The Straits Times Pocket Money Fund and The Business Times Budding Artists Fund.

The concerts for the upcoming 20th edition will be held at the Esplanade Theatre on Nov 29 and 30.
