SINGAPORE - Asians in Hollywood are finally getting their time in the sun, with historic wins at the recent Academy Awards.

Beijing-born director Chloe Zhao took home Best Director and Best Picture for her film Nomadland and South Korean veteran Youn Yuh-jung bagged Best Supporting Actress for Minari, a film which starred an almost entirely Korean cast.
